Job Description Summary
The Logistics & Sustainment Technical Publications IPT Leader will be responsible for the authoring and delivery of engine maintenance technical publications (manuals) for next generation military programs. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams managing complex schedules and contract deliverables while interfacing directly with our DoD customers to deliver unique military organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance technical publications requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
Serves as Logistics & Sustainment's focal point for engine maintenance technical publication authoringLeads customer's technical publication validation/verification activitiesDevelops and manage complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)Assist with Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and forecasting requirementsPrepare monthly program status reports to summarize work scope accomplished, financial expenditures and schedule critical pathManage contractual deliverables including tracking, reviewing, packaging and reporting status to internal and external customersOrganizes and lead both internal and external reoccurring meetings which provide management and leadership updates on technical publication authoring statusCollaborates cross functionally within Logistics & Sustainment and Edison Works Engineering disciplines such as support equipment engineering, maintainability, reliability, supportability and safety engineeringSupports leadership to identify and work through programmatic issues pertaining to security, resources, information technology, and facilitiesProvides recommendations to the Logistics & Sustainment Program Manager on related scope and deliverables
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma/GED with 10 years' related/relevant experience)Must have experience creating, managing or using U.S. military technical publicationsStrong understanding of U.S. military maintenance/logistics operations activitiesExperience performing project or program management functionsMust have a U.S. Government Secret Clearance (or be able to obtain and maintain)Ability to work full time on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to security requirements there are limited work from home or remote opportunitiesThis role is restricted to U.S. Citizens
Desired Characteristics
Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Logistics Product Data management, Maintenance Planning development and Life Cycle Sustainment PlanningExperience performing maintenance on military jet engines (F110, F118, F414, TF34 etc.)Familiarity of HTML, XML, and SGML languages used in technical publications authoringUnderstanding of S1000D international specification standards used to produce technical publicationsWorking knowledge of engineering drawings, design changes, and source data creation and implementationKnowledge and/or experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)Knowledge and/or experience using Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) software tools such as Microsoft Project and Deltek Open PlanAbility to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers Active U.S. Government Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
