Job Description
Insight Global is sourcing for a Technical Project Manager for the for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This individual will be a part of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services sector and will be responsible for managing an application migration from on prem to AWS Cloud. You will provide technical solutions, instituting standards and compliance, policy development, and audit support. The TPM will work closely with internal business and security stakeholders, along with technical leads, and vendor partners to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are documented and are on track. This person will serve as the primary contact for projects, risk mitigations, policy development, and documenting impediments. To be successful in this role, you must be curious and have the desire to understand the technical components factoring into a cloud migration.
This position is anticipated to be a long-term engagement and is currently a hybrid position with a 1 day per week in office requirement in Quincy MA when requested. Skills and Requirements
Available to commute to office in Quincy, MA 1 day per week
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience, or 2-3 years as a PM with a technical background (SDET, QA, SWE)
- Prior project experience overseeing an on prem to cloud data migration
- Experience identifying risk mitigation throughout the data migration
- Strong communication talking to technical and non-technical folks - Healthcare, Pharma or State/Government Industry experience
- PMP Certification null
