About Technical Project Manager - LATAM

  Job Description

  An employer based in the Los Angeles area is looking from a Technical Program/Project Manager located in LATAM. This individual should be a highly skilled Agile program management professionals, great teammates, lifelong learners, and extraordinary communicators, with a passion for servant-leadership. Your primary responsibility will be serving as the scrum master for two of our agile development teams, building out Pluto TV's native applications (Roku platform). We are seeking self-motivated agile program managers with a strong sense of accountability and commitment.

  This is an important role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  Agile Best Practices: Manage day-to-day Agile ceremonies at the team level and implement Agile best practices to improve team accuracy and velocity.

  Cross Team Communication: Drive cross-team communication and maintain healthy cross-team relationships by providing accurate and proactive project tracking to the larger organization.

  Impediment Removal: Actively identify and remove impediments that may impact team velocity or deliverables. Partner with PMO leadership to manage program impediments.

  Program Planning: Participating in quarterly big-room planning, working across the program management office to resolve and plan for cross-team dependencies. Facilitate your assigned teams to make responsible commitments and negotiate competing priorities. Drive teamwork, communication, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

  Relentless Improvement: Coach teams towards relentless improvement. Lead regular team-level retrospectives that lead to practical improvements and participate in larger cross-team inspect and adapt events.

  Development Team Relationship: Working as a servant-leader within the team, using leadership skills to cultivate healthy and productive working relationships.

  Skills and Requirements

  3-4 years of experience as an agile project manager/scrum master in a technical environment.

  Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification required. Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSP, or SA are recommended.

  Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework. SAFe certifications such as Certified SAFe® Agilist, Certified SAFe® Scrum Master, and/or Certified SAFE® Practitioner are recommended.

  Solid understanding of agile software development methodologies, with demonstrated success driving those teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency.

  Experience working as part of a larger PMO to deliver complex solutions, working through an agile process to call out issues, remove impediments, and manage risk.

  Experience managing expectations, negotiating compromises, and interfacing between a technical team and business partners.

  Experience working with teams that are distributed across multiple time zones and skills and ability synchronize and establish seamless communication

  Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas in a fast-paced creative environment.

  Previous experience working with third party applications and integrations including managing expectations, progress and deliverables

  Proficiency in tools: Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack - Experience working on streaming applications, entertainment technology on native application development, specifically Roku CTV with an understanding of linear channels and AVOD. null
