We are currently seeking a Technical Project Lead with AWS and BI experience (Remote) to join our team remotely in United States (US).
A Technical Project Lead with experience in AWS cloud administration and Business Intelligence technologies like MSTR, Tableau, and Alteryx: (USA)
Must-Have Skills:
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Technical Project lead, and project/program manager. Relevant Experience of at least 5 years in administrating the AWS cloud platform is a key skill set to have. Experience in BI-related reporting tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, Alteryx and Alation. Providing technology thought leadership and focusing on Customer Success, Client Relationships, and Stakeholder management are key skills required to perform this role. Bachelor's degree in computer science.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical discussion with various client stakeholders/ vendors (AWS and MicroStrategy, Tableau, Alteryx and Alation) and cloud architects. Orchestrate the entire project team members working on tickets. Running point on all the platform-related discussions from an admin/app support with AWS/ Hilton Stakeholders Project Reporting and stakeholder engagement Participate in IT strategy and transformation discussions. Provide technical oversights wherever needed.
Duties:
1. Project Management and Leadership: Oversee technical projects from conception to completion. Ensure that all project goals are met, managing timelines, resources, and team coordination. Provide technical guidance and leadership to project team members.
2. Cloud Architecture and Design: This involves understanding various cloud services and technologies (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and applying them effectively to meet project requirements.
3. System Administration and Maintenance: Manage and administer cloud environments. This includes tasks assignments such as setting up cloud services, ensuring security protocols are followed, and maintaining the health and performance of cloud systems.
4. Technical Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues related to cloud services. This may involve troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability of services.
5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including IT, software development, and business units, to align project objectives with organizational goals. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay updated with cloud technologies and industry trends. Implement best practices in cloud administration and project management.
7. Compliance and Security: Ensure that cloud deployments comply with relevant laws and regulations. Implement and oversee security measures to protect data and applications in the cloud.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular reports on project status, challenges, and achievements.
9. Team Development and Mentoring: Guide and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. This role typically requires a combination of technical expertise in cloud computing, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
