Summary:
TPMs work at the cross-section between technical execution and business strategy and are expected to partner closely with Business , Engineering and Product teams. Being a TPM at Meta means driving impact by delivering measurable results across a wide range of areas. You'll be responsible for defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring and communicating progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. It also means having a strong technical background, understanding system architecture, and the experience to effectively collaborate across functions and organizations to deliver impact.We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage key strategic programs and handle unique problems in two key strategic areas for Meta : Privacy and Technical Integrations for Mergers Acquisitions(MA).In the MA space you will play a key role driving complex technical integrations for acquired companies working with a large number of cross-functional partners across technical teamsIn the Privacy space our team tackles some of the most challenging issues within Enterprise Engineering organization in the areas of regulatory, compliance and privacy areas. The work we do in this space is extremely critical for Meta to stay compliant with different regulatory requirements across the globe.

Technical Program Manager, Privacy and MA Programs Responsibilities:
Educates and informs their team to ensure understanding of MA process, approach, and, impact by deal
Develops strong relationships and works closely with other cross functional partners to execute on their core function or overall integration
Defines the functional integration plan and tracks all key actions for a project from start to completion
Executes on actions for their specific ownership areas and is also accountable for all of the individual contributors that support the integration.
Surfaces project status updates to key stakeholders including integration and business to ensure alignment.
Identify (in concert with integration lead) and resolve the XFN dependencies that relate to their function.
Proactively identifies gaps in process or people support, spots issues and works within the organization to remediate and resolve. Escalates issues to drive resolution when appropriate.
Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders within the Privacy domain to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with.
Translate privacy requirements into product features and technical implementation plans, and conversely, interpret technical requirements through a privacy lens, formulating relevant privacy questions to ensure privacy considerations are integrated into product development.
Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation.
Awareness of engineering best practices for privacy management, e.g., data discovery, governance, and purpose limitation

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer / Electrical Engineering or other technical field
Experience delivering complex large scale tech programs spanning across multiple org boundries

10+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
