Amazon is looking for a Technical Project Manager to develop and deliver world-class solutions for our Global Automation Engineering Team. The Automation Engineering team ensures the material handling equipment is running as efficiently and reliably as possible for our operations teams and collaborates across multiple internal teams to deliver large-scale technical solutions for the Global Fulfillment Network. We build and scale solutions powering one of the world’s largest Reliability, Maintenance Engineering enterprises and the solutions of tomorrow will have a lasting impact on Amazon’s Global Operations.

Key job responsibilities
End to End Accountability of the delivery of the assigned Technical Programs
Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure of Technical Program and Projects
Pro-active Management of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies
Customer-facing engagement, to capture business needs and business roadmap, support definition of problem statement, to be translated into development initiatives for producing the desired business outcomes
Project Status Reporting internally and externally to the assigned team, being a single point of contact for assigned projects
Advocate and active contributor for the methodologies, processes, procedures in use within the team

About the team
Our Team ensure machine-generated data results in an automated, appropriate and effective corrective, proactive and/or predictive maintenance action by maturing and integrating core RME software tools into a unified Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP).
Our team builds technology and services to meet the needs of our organization. This includes providing our customers with a platform to access site tools and other critical applications to local RME teams in sites across our the global regions (NA, EU, AU, MENA, INDIA, JP)
We collaborate at a global level with software, sustainability and maintenance teams, and deliver at global scale.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
8+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Business and Technical Knowledge to support programs involving Enterprise SCADA and MHE - Machine Handling Equipment Integration. Capability to scope and deliver integration projects in the space of Industry 4.0 and IoT
Preferred Qualifications
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
Project Management Certification at professional level (PMI PMP, IPMA Level C/B) and Agile Certifications (E.g. PMI ACP - Agile Certified Practitioner)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
