About Technical Program Manager, Content Management System, Google Store

  Minimum qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  12 years of experience in technical program management managing cross-functional/team projects.

  Experience driving customer relations, adoption and training, and working with cross-functional teams.

  Preferred qualifications:

  Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

  Experience in managing programs related to content publishing tools.

  Experience in testing, quality, and release processes.

  Ability to orchestrate training initiatives and customer engagement, create playbooks, and encourage the adoption of enterprise products.

  Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

  Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

  Google Store is the company's e-commerce site for Google's expanding portfolio of hardware products and associated services. Our team of engineers develops and operates a scalable e-commerce platform that underlies Google Store. We offer an innovative shopping experiences, constructing physical retail stores, solving inventory optimization problems, detecting and blocking fraudulent orders, designing responsive web pages, and providing intuitive and frictionless purchase experiences.

We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

  Orchestrate programs to achieve strategic objectives and deliver measurable improvements. Manage complex programs and projects across technical domains.

  Partner with customers to understand their needs, issues, and expectations. Analyze technical issues methodically, triage and troubleshoot them, and classify them into different categories.

  Develop and implement training programs for customers. Collaborate with customers to identify their use cases and help them leverage the full potential of our CMS.

  Work closely with clients to ensure they maximize the value of our Content Management System (CMS), Product Listing Ad (PLA) System, Real Time Dynamic Messaging System (RTDM).

  Partner with engineering, product, and UX to prioritize and implement initiatives. Streamline processes, manage OKRs, and drive timely releases.
