Role Description
Business Foundations includes the Security, Business Enablement, Business Data and Data Platform, Abuse and Fraud, Privacy Engineering, and Information and Technology & Services teams. The success of these teams is critical to the foundation of Dropbox and they have to be stable, accurate, and effective or they undermine our core business and future growth. These "business foundations" when done well, enable to be agile, to go fast, to bring products to market, and to measure the success of our efforts.
We are seeking a talented Technical Program Manager to join the Business Foundations PMO and support key programs within Business Foundations. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and receptive to embracing fresh challenges. They should possess exceptional skills in prioritization, innovative thinking, and be proficient in working collaboratively with teammates.
Responsibilities
Manage projects and programs that support Business Foundations' strategy and operations.Communicate changes and provide resources to internal and internal customers.Engage with key stakeholders across Dropbox to deliver program requirements.Identify gaps in process and implement improvements that streamline processes, tools, people and documentation.Present and communicate to senior management on program/project status and updates.Define, publish and communicate team OKRs and project roadmaps.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.7+ years of related work experience.Experience with project planning methods and toolsProject or program management skills with cross-functional teamsExtraordinary and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written
Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours. If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment. Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox's total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):
• US Zone 1: $168,300 - $198,000 - $227,700.
• US Zone 2: $151,500 - $178,200 - $204,900.
• US Zone 3: $134,600 - $158,400 - $182,200.
Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee's remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro
• US Zone 3: All other US locations
