The Technical Product Manager - Core Platform Services role at Peapod Digital Labs (PDL) will function as a key contributor in the Product organization and will have ownership of a core set of our ecommerce/omnichannel technology platform's capabilities. This Product role spans the spectrum from ideation-strategizing to execution-delivery and everything in between.
You will contribute to the roadmap for business-critical technology services and omni-channel data that provide capabilities for various parts of the organization. You will be putting a product lens on all work within your area of the technology platform. You will establish and manage relationships throughout the product and IT organizations, enabling the creation of fast, efficient, reusable and capable shared services and data solutions that power the omnichannel experience.
Additionally, you will set shared expectations and advise partners through effective communication to share set business goals of improving the customer experience on the digital properties of Ahold Delhaize USA's brands - Food Lion, FreshDirect, Giant Food, Giant/Martin's, Hannaford, and Stop & Shop.

Lead sophisticated projects independently, develop a solid understanding of our customers, manage multiple concurrent projects, and identify and implement solutions that recognize significant business value.Build and vet scope, requirements, use case/user scenarios, test case documents and design specificationsSynthesize business requirements, identify areas of uncertainty, recommend solutions, capture consensus from relevant collaborators, roll solution out to team, shepherd feature through development and review code before rollout.Communicate platform outcomes to key team membersBalance the intake of requests and ongoing prioritization and execution of improvements, anchoring decisions on objective measures of value and strategic alignmentWork cross-functionally to drive the modernization and feature enhancement initiative, partnering with the platform technology team to complete within an agile frameworkActs as mentor to entry level associates
The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients
5+ years direct experience in a digital environment in a relevant capacityBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.3+ years digital experience2+ years in product managementExperience with leading teams developing core services using any of the following technologies: JSON-based APIs, Java,. NET, AngularJS, native IOS or AndroidExperience working in an Agile development environment and handling iteration-level deliverables
