  Job Description Visa Technical Product Management team is looking for a seasoned Technical Product Manager  for our Developer Experience Team. This role offers the opportunity to work on both on-premise and cloud-based products. The ideal candidate will be able to think at a large scale and create requirements to support Visa's high-throughput applications. The individual will work with variety of stakeholders such product development teams, solution architects, and product developers to tactfully enable feature set.

   

  Essential Functions:

  Perform technical Product management functions including defining Strategy, building roadmap, requirements gathering, project management, issue/risk management, and cross team coordination.

  Collaborate extensively across organizational boundaries for interfacing with various technology teams and business stakeholders to identify requirements, converting them to functional specs, prioritizing, and driving execution using agile methodologies.

  Partner with Engineering, Development and Architecture teams to define Product strategies

  Understand the market, competition, and user requirements in depth.

  Work closely with engineers to contribute to the development of design artifacts and Quality Assurance test plans.

  Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders, Bug bashes, and Hackathons.

  Own and develop clear and concise product collateral in order to document the platform to inform and educate internal stakeholders and clients of its desired behavior including Product Guides, Integration Guides, and Release notes.

   

  This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

  • Knowledge or experience in Generative AI, ChatGPT, Large Language Models (LLMs), CoPilot, and similar technologies.

  • Using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.

  • Facilitating large scale planning, development, and user acceptance testing efforts.

  • Working within an Agile environment.

  • Experience working with tracking and process management tools, including Rally or JIRA/JIRA Align.

  • Working with business and engineering teams to write business requirement documents, document technical requirements, and make presentation to executives.

  • Developing roadmaps, writing user stories, grooming product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in at least two of the following areas: merchant solutions, risk modeling, fraud detection, mobile payments, billing and subscriptions, tokenization, micro-transactions, alternative payments, reporting and reconciliation, web services, batching, payment security and cloud services.

  Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

  Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

  Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

  U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,100.00 to 154,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
