Job Description
A Fortune 50 client is looking for a Technical Product Analyst to come join their team as this Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform team has several initiatives supporting their Data Analytics Toolset environment (platforms and tools). As the Technical Product Analyst, you will be responsible for driving this client's Presto toolset environment within the enterprise. There is a legacy Presto environment that will be migrated to their new enterprise environment this year that you will be managing. In addition, this role will require you to also manage the platform from a product enablement and sustainment perspective as other organizations will be looking to move on the Presto platform, or require changes to their current Presto environment. This role requires someone who is self-sufficient, can take requirements and run, has a customer obsession, and is bias for action. This role prefers someone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that would be willing to work in a hybrid role and go onsite in Plano two to three days a week. Remote candidates will be considered.
Skills and Requirements
-8+ years of IT experience either in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Platform Engineering, Machine Learning, or DevOps
-Any experience with Azure PaaS stack -- specifically Azure Databricks and AKS
-3+ years of experience working on technical product(s) within enterprise environment -- understanding of how to get a product to market
-Ability to use Excel and PowerPoint to create diagrams and present data
-Ability to take hearsay requirements from engineers on observability and convert them into written requirements
-Ability to work with software development team on a day to day basis to implement requirements
-Any architecture experience
-Customer obsession, ability to take ownership, bias for action
-Experience working in a technical/functional role -Experience either using or managing Presto null
