Who You Are:
A Technical Producer (with QA), or Email Developer, conceptualizes, recommends, codes, documents, and assures the quality of email solutions to leverage automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation and other Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) capabilities to maximize email engagement and response rates. This role will require the use of SFMCs proprietary scripting language, AMPscript, automation and database tools to execute campaigns, and email testing tools to maintain Levs high standard of excellence.
What Youll Do:
? Help clients solve business problems across their Enterprise. This could entail highly complex, dynamic email solutions that orchestrate or automate hundreds of emails or content areas across BUs.
? Lead client discoveries. Gather business requirements from the client and consult about email implementation strategies.
? Develop and recommend custom solutions for the clients business and create and present email solution implementation plans
? Own the email implementation of the project and be the main point of contact for the Lev team and the client
? Continually assess and communicate risks, progress, and upcoming level-of-effort
? Act as a technical leader on the Campaign Services team, mentoring, coaching, and helping others grow
? Develop mobile-responsive Preference Centers and landing pages using HTML, bootstrap, AMPscript, and CSS
? Build and test emails and email templates that meet client requirements, follow email best practices, and adhere to Lev quality standards
? Review emails, templates, deployments, and landing pages using the Email QA checklist process and provide feedback to other Technical Producers and clients
? Assess email build errors with a holistic understanding of risk, analyze impacts and outcomes, and recommend actions accordingly
? Demonstrate a deep understanding of the campaign workflow, identifying and advocating for process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce overall risk
? Develop robust QA documentation, including customer specific work instructions; update existing documentation as needed.
? Work out of a queue with other team members
? Provide occasional on-call weekend or other after-hours support for client campaigns
? Perform other duties as required and assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Required
? Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, Web Development, Marketing Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
? 3 to 5 years of experience in consulting on email best practices, including design, build, deliverability, data driven emails, etc.
? Experience in consulting with a variety of client sizes, industries, and individual personalities and skill levels
? Experience in large scale email campaign migrations to Salesforce Marketing Cloud from other platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, and Responsys
? Experience with AMPscript, including basic personalization strings, conditionals, lookups, loops, parsing XML and/or JSON payloads
? Experience creating complex, dynamic, custom email implementation solutions for Enterprise clients. Examples: translations, coupons/promotional codes, content matrices for dynamic content across 10s-100s of BUs and/or campaigns, RSS feeds, automation, custom content blocks, etc.
? Experience hand-coding HTML and CSS
? Experience building emails in Content Builder drag-and-drop, as well as Advanced and Interactive content blocks, including dynamic and enhanced dynamic, email form, etc.
? Highly detail-oriented and able to follow best practices and guidelines to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of deliverables
? Formal or informal experience rigorously testing email builds and deployment setups (preferrably built by someone else)
? Experience working out of a queue as part of a team
? Experience mentoring and coaching other technically-minded colleagues
Preferred
? Experience with Salesforce Distributed Marketing
? Experience building complex and custom Preference Centers
? Experience building emails in Salesforce Pardot
? Experience building emails in ESPs outside of Salesforce
? Experience testing emails in multiple browsers and ISPs
? Experience with rendering tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
? Experience with JIRA, Asana, or other project management tools
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? Confident, comfortable, and experienced at successfully consulting in situations with fluid processes and workflows
? Proven leader who has demonstrated the ability to help teams adapt processes and workflows to client needs
? Ability to influence clients to follow best practices in implementation, as well as processes and workflows
? Strong understanding of CRM and data structures in the context of implementing personalization and dynamic content in email solutions
? Effective prioritization and time management skills
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
? Strong collaboration skills, understanding the critical importance of working cohesively with team members
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $49,400 - $106,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
