We are now looking to internally appoint a T Desk Technical Lead to fully support business operations with the realization of company TQ sales objectives. Primary activities will include supporting a new team of T Desk Assistants with the production of ‘TQ’ quotations along with follow up on open quotations to secure orders from the customer, in an efficient and accurate manner.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist with daily quotations accurately from various sources – technical know-how (time required/hours required)
WWJSSS items – confirm required, and advise quotation details
Engineers Upgrade app leads for non-package items
Insurance reports – requiring T&M elements – from the wording in the report be able to advise the team what is required to be quoted and how it should be worded to get the best message across to the customer
Otis Survey app recommendations – what is required to be quoted
Establish required hours and material requirements via various sources - Speaking direct with the route engineer, using the current FOD team for guidance and understanding MOD/TQ
Develop the team understanding of what content is required for the quotation through experience
Assist with quotation wording – Turning a limited description of the job into a customer friendly non-technical easy to understand format
Follow up on quotations where a customer may have a technical question inrelation what was issued.
Collating learnings from discussions with client and team to improve process/quality/collateral and create new packages
ND package sale review - Do we need to increase or decrease material or labour costs? Based of operational feedback
Help develop collateral to support new and existing packages with support of Marketing sales team
Candidates will be:
Willing to learn on the job and improve their skill set
Able to spend time away from the office if needed to gain knowledge on products (when needed)
Self-motivated with a desire to drive the business forward
