Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
5 years of experience with embedded systems.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Experience with android programming and embedded wireless systems design.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5 years of experience leading projects cross-functionally in complex, matrixed organizations.
Familiarity with Android BSP, multiprocessing, and testing infrastructure.
Understanding of wireless communications.
Ability to be an inclusive and thoughtful leader, with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000-$283,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
Develop embedded software frameworks and features maximizing leverage and scalability across products and modem systems.
Create developer tools and automated regression test systems for optimizing performance, validating features, and measuring system performance.
Implement and tune algorithms for optimizing performance, power, and thermal metrics.
Design and implement factory calibration and test systems.
Work with other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and meet compliance/conformance metrics.
