Job Description Your Career
As a Technical Enablement Specialist at Palo Alto Networks, you are responsible for improving the product and industry knowledge of technical team members from the sales, customer support, and professional services organizations. This role partners with Technical Enablement Architects to design product and industry training.
Individuals in this role are focused on the Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud portfolio, which provides comprehensive Cloud security to customer environments. The position is primarily responsible for technical aspects of the product training, such as product features, configuration, deployment, and optimization using tools within the product. The scope and function of this position require close coordination with Systems Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Support, and other Shared Services teams. This role will focus on the Prisma Cloud portfolio and report to the Senior Director of Technical Enablement.
All candidates must have relevant technical Public Cloud experience and an understanding of technical training methods and tools. Experience in Public Cloud (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) architecture and operations is ideal for this position.

Contribute to onboarding learning programs so new hire technical personas can present, demonstrate, and deploy Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud productsMaintain a deep technical understanding of public cloud security solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, Code Security) and Prisma Cloud products, new product updates, and industry trendsSupport ongoing technical enablement activities for new hires to develop skills to deliver effective customer presentations, demonstrations, and product deployments related to Prisma Cloud solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, Code Security)Participate in designing and building Public Cloud lab environments in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud to support Prisma Cloud learning Document Prisma Cloud learning paths for technical personas Partner with Prisma Cloud Technical Enablement Architects and stakeholders to determine learning objectivesSupport the Prisma Cloud Technical Enablement Architect role in collecting technical product information required to build digital learning solutionsAct as a point of contact for technical product questions from stakeholders and technical personasWork with the Technical Content team to review courses or enablement content information Support the delivery of public cloud security solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, Code Security) and Prisma Cloud products technical enablement sessions, workshops, assessments, and certifications, remote or in person, to various technical personasParticipate in stakeholder interlock meetings with Prisma Cloud technical sales leadership, product management, and customer support/delivery leaders to review a rolling 4-quarter enablement plan for feedback, refinement, and augmentationPartner with the platform team to maintain the accuracy of postings and learning journeysParticipate in technical enablement communications to Prisma Cloud stakeholders and technical personasParticipate in coordinating, planning, and delivering the annual Tech SummitLeverage data and metrics to correlate program participation to performance outcomes, making course corrections as needed to ensure desired results are achieved Qualifications Your Experience
Relevant Public Cloud technical experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud as a Cloud Architect, Engineer, or equivalentModerate to deep technical knowledge of public cloud architecture and operations in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google CloudKnowledge of Public Cloud concepts such as containers, serverless, Kubernetes, and TerraformExperience with cloud application deployments and maintenanceMinimum of 2 years experience as a public cloud practitioner Experience with cybersecurity technical products and solutionsUnderstand the cybersecurity market and relevant business drivers Skilled in effective communication with technical personasBasic understanding of technical enablementModerate experience in facilitating and/or delivering technical training Ability to apply technical differentiators and insights to support teams in competitive positioning with customersHighly motivated, energetic, collaborative, and self-starter who demonstrates leadership, adaptability, flexibility, and integrityAbility to travel up to 30% Additional Information Our Commitment

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $178,300/yr to $245,200/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
