Purpose of the Role
The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing excellent client and technical support through several activities across a range of products from Protection and Pensions to Investments. You will be the vital link between the Client, Development and Product teams that ensures that the software development process meets an end client need, and will work collaboratively with other Analysts, Developers and Project Managers.
Responsibilities:
Regular client engagementDefine configuration specifications and development requirementsUndertake software configuration activities using in-house toolsPerform quality assuranceHelp design, document and maintain system processesSummarise and effectively communicate issues, processes and solutions to internal and external stakeholdersSupport clients through the lifecycle of the team's activities including design, build, test and Implementation
Background & Experience
Educated to degree level in a computing / analytical / statistical / mathematical discipline orExperience in financial services would be preferredExperience is client engagement, at any level, would be preferred
Key Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office suiteProficiency in producing detailed process flowsExperience in database usageExcellent critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written skillsCapable of drilling into business processes and identifying areas for improvementExperience in various development methodologies such as agile, scrum and waterfall
