For this reason, we are looking for a Technical Bid Manager for our High-Pressure Pumps division. In this role, you will be an expert in desalination processes, becoming the key point of contact for our most established clients. You will be a central figure, representing Danfoss and driving solutions for clients with a focus on critical processes. It is a crucial role, allowing you to make a direct impact, while also being a truly exciting and rewarding opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

Your main role is to Give direct technical support to internal and external customers regarding product/application information, product selection and special quotations. This includes addressing technical inquiries, providing solutions, reviewing design and quote documentation, and ensuring that technical aspects align with the clients' needs and expectations.

Prepare timely and accurate technical quotations based on customer requirements, as well as proactive offerings of value-added alternates / solutions for the customer.

Coordination with cross-functional teams like sales, engineering, purchasing and operations teams during the process.

Develops and continuously improves the bid processes and tools.

Evaluating proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organization’s quality standards.

Analyze feedback from clients and prospects on submitted bids and tenders to continuously improve our processes and offerings.

Responsible for the duly transfer of documentation to Project team after award.

Provide feedback to product management team on highly requested special features.

Visiting customers on demand for technical support to commercial team (Sales).

Collaborate in projects Management.

Background Skills

Academic background in engineering; academic knowledge of desalination processes is considered a plus.

At least 7 years of experience in similar roles, gained in moderately structured and international environments.

Strong expertise in desalination and water reuse processes, with the ability to provide technical support and manage relationships with clients and partners in international contexts.

Previous experience in the pump, water, electronics, or related industries, with a good understanding of the ecosystem in which these products operate.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish; additional knowledge of Italian or French is considered a plus.
