Job purpose:
The Solution Architect (Planning Products) will work closely with Product Directors, Product Owners, Product Managers, Enterprise Architects and Engineering teams to define the technical architecture for the Global Supply Chain Planning capability.
A key element in the role will be to support the design and delivery of our new advanced planning solutions. Connecting with various tech teams and architecture forums across GSK and ensuring optimal integration methods. This is a key enabler for GSK's supply chain transformation programme, providing a platform to showcase your talent across our global organization.
The Solution Architect will also provide oversight to the delivery of the products by agile scrum teams post initial deployment of OMP and other relevant Technologies (Aera etc) ensuring adherence to GSK Tech architectural standards and Global Regulatory Compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities: Maintain familiarity with GSK Tech architectural standards and external technology trends.Maintain expertise in agile product delivery processes and technologies, including, but not limited to, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), data fabric/mesh, DevSecOps, containerization, Databricks/Python, AI/ML, scrum and SAFe.Define cloud-based, scalable product architectures informed by external technology trends and aligned with GSK Tech architectural standards as well as visions of Enterprise Architect and Principal Engineer.Create achievable product implementation strategies that deliver business value continuously and fit into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business and user perspectives.Work with Product Director, Product Managers, Product Owners and Principal/Senior Engineers to construct agile scrum teams for product deliveryGenerate technical solution designs that map out the core parts that will constitute the product solution and how they are going to work togetherLead development and testing of products through participation in product backlog refinement and Program Increment and Sprint Planning, as well as agile ceremonies such as Daily Standups.Contribute to relentless improvement of products and scrum teams by championing experimentation and innovation, and through coaching and mentoring of engineering team members.Ensure technical documentation is created and maintained per Global Regulatory Compliance requirements, and that documentation is fit for purpose and useful to the delivery and support teams.
