The Opportunity
This is a technical role that requires providing Consulting advice and support to Clients for Implementing solutions and any technical advisory required afterwards. This is a client-facing role and requires consultant to collaborate closely with the client, understand their technical and business requirements and then Implement solution in a manner client gets most value out of the solution. Consultant's main objective is to drive successful delivery and maintaining a high level of satisfaction for our customer.
What you'll Do
Provide advisory, consulting, and technical implementation services to customers on Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey OptimizerAssess customer requirements, pain points, goals and make recommendations on solution architecture, design, and roadmap.Configure Adobe Experience Platform services like Identity Service, Data Storage Layer, Profile dataset, Real-time Customer Profile etc.Implement data ingestion from various sources like CRM, MPNs, Website data, Mobile apps using APIs, Experience Data Model (XDM), schemas and mappers.Create customer, visitor and product audiences using segments and AI/ML powered segments.Configure destinations to activate audiences in channels like email, Journey Optimizer, Ad Cloud and CRM systems.Implement Journey Optimizer features like journey orchestration, triggers, automations, actions, messages, and offers.Develop custom applications, workflows, and APIs to extend the platform as per customer needs.Troubleshoot technical issues, debug, and optimize performance of customer implementations.Provide post go-live support, enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades for customer solutions.Conduct product training, knowledge transfer and share best practices.Continuously track product updates and improve solution recommendations for evolving customer needs.Key responsibilities include:
Consultation and Requirement Gathering: Engage with clients to understand their technical and business requirements, conduct workshops, and gather necessary information to design and implement solutions using AEP and AJO.Solution Design and Configuration: Design and configure AEP and AJO solutions to meet client requirements. This includes defining data models, configuring data flows, creating customer segments, and setting up customer journeys.Implementation and Integration: Collaborate with development teams to implement and integrate AEP and AJO solutions with other systems and platforms, ensuring data flows seamlessly and accurately between systems.Technical Troubleshooting: Perform proactive problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues related to AEP and AJO. This includes identifying and resolving data integration issues, ensuring proper data synchronization, and resolving system errors.Customization and Development: Develop custom solutions and extensions as needed to meet unique client requirements. This may involve scripting, programming, and leveraging AEP and AJO APIs and SDKs.Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and user guides. Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to enable clients to effectively use AEP and AJO.Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery of AEP and AJO projects. This includes managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and providing regular project status updates.Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure the quality and stability of AEP and AJO implementations. Conduct thorough testing and validation to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing support and guidance. Understand client objectives and align AEP and AJO solutions to meet their business goals.Stay Updated on Product Enhancements: Keep abreast of the latest updates, features, and enhancements in AEP and AJO. Continuously expand knowledge and expertise in these platforms to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.What you need to succeed
2+ years of implementation experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products especially Adobe Experience Platform and Journey Optimizer with 6+ years of overall experience in Digital marketing, campaign management.Expertise in deploying, configuring, and optimizing all major Experience Platform services and Journey Optimizer features.Strong SQL skills for querying datasets, implementing data transformations, cleansing data, etc.Hands-on experience developing custom applications, workflows and integrations using Experience Platform APIsDeep familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform and Journey Optimizer technical implementations including:Setting up source connectors and ingesting data using the API and UIConfiguring Experience Events (XDM schemas) for capturing data from sourcesCreating audience segments using custom and AI/ML-based segmentsTriggering journeys and activations based on segments and profilesImplementing journey automations, actions, and messagesIntegrating with destinations like CRM, email, etc.Hands-on experience developing using the Platform APIs and SDKs in a language like:JavaScript for API callsJava for extending functionality with custom connectors or applicationsExpertise in data modelling for multi-channel needs using the Experience Data Model (XDM)Familiarity with configuring IMS authentication to connect external systems to Platform APIsExperience developing, debugging, and optimizing custom server-side applications.Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs and SQLExpertise ingesting data from sources like Adobe Analytics, CRM, Ad Server, Web and MobileStrong understanding of concepts like multi-channel data management, segmentation, orchestration, automation, and personalizationUnderstanding of data structures like: JSON for representing data in APIs, Data Tables for processing tabular data, Streaming data flowsExperience automating technical tasks using tools like: API integration tests, Postman for API testing, Git for source controlExcellent documentation and communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical recommendations to customersExperience troubleshooting complex technical issues related to APIs, data ingestion, segments, destinations etc.Self-starter with the ability to manage resource constraints, changing priorities and tight deadlines.Problem solving mindset with the ability to constantly improve and optimize deployed solutions.Key Skills
Good Communication Skills- Ability to interact with customers independently with good articulation and confidence and Articulation.Digital marketing experience, with Martech platforms implementation (Adobe/SFDC) from solution, design, and implementation specifically with AEP and AJO.Database skills - Have good expertise of either of databases SQL/ Oracle /Teradata etc.Data model design Skills for Marketing databases. Capability to query, work on aggregates, use filter conditions, Creation joins, define keys, set index etcLogical Programming knowledge, with either JS/ Python /PHP etc., Should be comfortable with HTML/CSS.Understand complex data models (preferrable XDM) and the objective of marketing campaigns.Familiarity with establishing rules and conditional logics to customize journeys based on customer attributes and behaviours. Advocate for improvements.Strong ability to partner and effectively work across the organization with line of business and technology colleagues. Strong implementation coordination and communication skills.Good to have Skills:
