Adobe Commerce Architect with responsibilities spanning planning, designing, managing architecture, and mentoring team while adopting best practices.What you'll Do
Interfaces between clients, PMs, Business Solution Architects and Development teamMaps client's product roadmap against Adobe Commerce native vs custom featuresValidates the architecture against requirements and assumptionsVerifies and validates development process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and methodologyCreates technical specification documentsUnderstanding of coding best practices and ensures highest standards of coding are adhered to by the development teamLeads/guides/mentors team members comprising senior and mid-levelBecomes responsible for the technical architecture, code quality, performance, security and scalability of enterprise level projectsAlways represents Adobe (work product, communications, presence) professionally in both client and team situationsArticulates the architectural vision to clients, sponsors and stakeholdersWhat you need to succeed
Overall 14+ years of Experience10+ years of experience with Magento development with 6+ years of experience with Magento 2 developmentExperience working with Adobe Commerce 2.4.x10+ years of experience with PHP development10+ years of experience with Mysql,6+ years managing technical and/or business teams in customer-facing functionShould have worked as an Architect for at least 3+ Adobe Commerce ImplementationsExperience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL)Experience with Version Control Systems like GITKnowledge of different branching strategiesBe well versed with Adobe Commerce native features and respective configurationsExpert knowledge of ComposerHave experience integrating Adobe Commerce with other applications/toolsFamiliarity with other ecommerce platformsHave great design and problem-solving skills, passion for quality and engineering excellence at scaleExperience building and designing large-scale server applications in a distributed environmentExcellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skillsExperience in preparing and reviewing technical specification documents.Be able to lead integration with third party like payment gateways, analytical tools, marketing agencies LanguagesExperience in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etcHave strong presentation skills; skilled and effective at presenting to both technical and business audiencesExpert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomesKnowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure etcExcellent database design and implementation skills
