Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Analyst for part time opportunity to support our NAVSEA client in Washington DC area. Remote opportunity available.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Capture the multiple variables and methods to reduce biofouling impacts on surface ship platforms and provide recommendations to obtain the best return-on-investment for Navy research and development projects
Researches and analyzes hull-fouling/biofouling studies and reports to provide recommendations into a feasibility study
Identifies issues and develops recommendations, and coordinating action with project team and client
Analyzes, evaluates, and advises on technical opportunities for client regarding operational energy research and development projects
Creates and coordinates inputs and recommendations for technical report inputs, analytic recommendations and technical reviews from stakeholders and client
Orchestrates coordination between stakeholders, end users and technical teams
Minimum Qualifications:
Navy operational and engineering experience (10+ years)
Navy organizational and intermediate level maintenance and repair experience (5+ years) to include underwater hull husbandry and hull (interior and exterior) preservation and repair
Ability to work with stakeholders and project team remotely
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of software applications/suites such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
College degree (Associate or higher)
Senior Navy Engineering Department leadership experience (E7 and above)
Travel requirements less than 10%
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a SECRET ClearancePhysical Requirements:
be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
be able to communicate professionally with ManTech employees and ManTech clients
be able to observe and report
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,500-$122,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
