Job Description:
Position Summary
Performs senior project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. Responsible for managing a team assigned to a specific initiative or portion of a larger project. Typically focuses on completing subtasks or smaller projects that support larger initiatives. Responsible for meeting project deadlines and producing deliverables. Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility. Adjusts work assignments and plans based on shifting resources and priorities. Impact: Projects typically affect the outcome or timeliness of larger projects and may significantly affect the ability of a business unit or support function to operate effectively. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
Candidate must have Business and technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements, writing High Level Design documents, Metadata, and Test Plans for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop high level designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs.
This role will also require a minimal amount (5%-10%) of Admin / Business Operations duties. Duties like scheduling meetings, allocating resources into our Budget tracking system, assisting in coordinating team events and team meetings, helping teammates with access into Bank of America buildings, coordinating Staff Meetings and agendas. This role will be located in Charlotte, NC.
Required skills:
• Candidate must have knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Model Development. This role will work with both of these teams and candidate must understand these areas.
• Candidate needs the ability to work under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects requiring creative solutions.
