Lead the bidding team of Substation Solution business.
Responsible to lead the team for pre-sales and sales activities like preparation of techno-commercial offer and secure the order by providing best and optimized solution to meet customer requirement.
Planning and forecasting of Tenders in the Southern and Western Regions.
Preparation of presentations with the team members for getting management approval prior to bid submission.
Preparation of Target pricing for Substation Tenders.
Responsible for visit or interaction with various Customers – Central, State, Industry and EPCs on regular basis to discuss technical requirement and offerings.
Promote Siemens Solutions and Services.
Co-ordinate with procurement to carry out negotiation with internal or external partners.
Map the potential and coordinate with Sales to improve our footprint in T&D market.
Ability to demonstrate strong customer engagement and relationship development skills.
Technical coordination on pre-sale phases for spec-in activities, Solution demonstration and approvals etc.
Co-ordinate with project management team for seamless transition of projects from Bid to Project Management function.
In depth awareness of Competitor’s Product & Solution portfolios.
Experience Required
15-20 years’ experience in Tender Management.
Knowledge of both AIS and GIS Substation solutions will be preferable.
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Fluent Verbal & Written skills in English.
Excellent Networking, Communication and Presentation skills.
Available to travel across the nation for business trip.
Self-motivated, quick, and assertive.
Calm, collected and collaborative approach to deliver under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environment.
