Job title: Tender Manager - Team Leader
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and creative Manager to lead Tender Management Team.
Responsibilities
· Proven working experience in handling government tenders and well versed with tender methodology/bid preparation & bid submission for government projects.
· Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
· Strong strategic bent and proactiveness to prepare the go-to-market strategy and also to strategize the deal.
· Thorough understanding of Power Transmission business
· Site investigation, preparing logistics plan, Bulk materials source nearby and attending pre bid meetings & seeking clarifications from clients.
· Floating an enquiry and collection of offers with vendor negotiation, Analysis & Price comparison, updating costing works.
· Getting through the contract terms and conditions, liquidity damages, performance guarantee, milestone, bank guarantee requirements, payment terms and special conditions, taxes and duties.
· To identify risk and opportunity in the proposal pricing to mitigate inherent risk at tender submission stage.
· Review and monitor the progress of Tenders, plan and strategize to achieve the targets.
· Coordinating internal departments for Preparation of project construction plans & Schedules, staffs, Manpower & Equipment deployments, Organization charts and method statements and infrastructure requirements.
· To prepare tender review information in order to ensure methodology, pricing and margin contingency are adequately adhered to.
· Preparing of technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.
· Preparing Rate Analysis with logical risk factor pricing.
· Responsible to lead a team. Coach and develop the team members to achieve their potential.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in engineering /mechanical engineering, with at 18-20 years of relevant work-experience.
Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams from different departments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complicated technical ideas to both technical and non-technical individuals involved in the project.
A forward-thinking mindset with a keen eye for emerging trends in Power Transmission industry
Takes a data-driven and analytical approach to problem-solving, using quantitative and qualitative data to make well-informed decisions.
Has a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish, while adhering to timelines and budgets.
