As a Technology Delivery Professional, you’ll be responsible for ensuring work is being completed, setting delivery practices within the team, promoting and supporting “agile infrastructure” practices and drives tool adoption.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provides moderate to complex support to all product levels (Product Suite, Product Group and/or Product).
Acts as a source of direction, a Player’s Coach or top-level work coordinator to teams and lower level associates.
Set practices for the team (agile infrastructure practices, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
Drives flow of work (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Accountable for standardized tooling adoption (technical tools and business process tools).
Partners with Agile Coaches to work across Infrastructure & Operations to implement and drive Agile Infrastructure Practices.
Consults and assists consumers with integrations, adoptions, etc.
Assists in the hiring, training and developing of top engineering talent.
Key contributor to innovation, outside-of-the-box thinking and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.
Stays on top of current trends.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to AVP, Manager/Director, Technology Engineering/Technology Product Manager.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or designation are not required, but encouraged (i.e.: AWS, Azure, Scripting and Development Languages, Delivery Methods, Security).
Experience: Six years or more of technology experience with highly complex integrated solutions with an ability to design and develop and modify new and existing solutions for specialized needs. Experience with multiple technologies and within one or more domains and with automation of deployment of solution configurations.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong communication skills, knowledge of planning, management and execution of Accelerated Solutions Deliver framework, Information Security acumen. Influencing, Negotiation and Priority Setting needed. Insurance/Financial Services Industry knowledge a plus.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the Vice President and HR Business Partner.
