The Tax Transformation Office serves Deloitte Tax, focused on transforming client service delivery inclusive of people, process, and technology in order for our Tax Professionals to deliver efficient, high value, quality service to our clients. Tax Transformation drives improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings. Responsibilities
The role requires working knowledge of professional services and the end-to-end tax compliance engagement life cycle. As a Senior on the Service Delivery Transformation team, you will collaborate with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders. Projects span across multiple Business Threads, including tax compliance and advisory service delivery for Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flow-Through, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, and Indirect Tax services, as well as cross-thread activities such as Initiate, Manage and Close engagements. Responsibilities include:
Ability to apply agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design
Engage with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvement
Decomposing business requirements
Collaboration throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
User testing
Business readiness assessments
Learning delivery and materials preparation

The team
Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is responsible for collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define delivery standards and the standard processes to support the delivery of Tax services, as well as the related development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery. Members of Tax Transformation elevate Deloitte Tax Professionals, in order that they may provide higher value services to Deloitte clients, through identifying opportunities to streamline delivery, increase resource fungibility, improve ROI on technology investments, increase agility, and elevate the digital client experience. The Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver value-added and efficient Tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation consists of professionals with varying backgrounds ranging from Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals including Quality Assurance and Technology Support. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design and deployment and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
3+ years of client service experience in one or more of the following tax compliance related areas: Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flow-Throughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, or Indirect
Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle
One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:
Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

Strong focus on deployment, adoption and driving change
Assist in the development of a tax technology strategy supporting tax compliance and provision platforms to maximize efficiencies and streamline processes
Experience in defining delivery standards
Agile or PMP certification
Strong PowerPoint skills
Working knowledge of data management and metrics
Project management
Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvements
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,500 to $77,070.
