About the role
We are looking for someone who has the ambition to drive Diageo’s SAP ERP transformation agenda and ensure Diageo can meet the increasing demands of worldwide tax authority’s digitization of tax. The Tax Technology JM role is part of our Global Tax Team and its main focus will be to support the design, implementation and roll-out of technology solutions in SAP that support Diageo’s tax function.
You will have a deep understanding of SAP and how it is used within tax functions. You will also coordinate and lead user acceptance testing of those new solutions and support the ongoing configuration, testing and updates to existing tax technology solutions in response to changing legislative requirements and business needs.
You will act as a Tax Technology Business Partner. Including being a first point of contact for tax teams; working with them to identify new opportunities to implement technology solutions and develop supporting business cases. You will be involved in the development and roll out of tax technology training material.
About you
The purpose of the role is to support the design, implementation, and rollout of tax technology solutions and changes in our SAP ERP.
What you’ll bring
Knowledge of SAP modules(including, but not limited to, SAP SD) and an understanding of ABAP coding
Requirements gathering - experience of reviewing process, gathering requirements, undertaking testing and developing solutions.
Experience of delivering SAP-based projects, preferably within a tax / e-invoicing environment.
Stakeholder management - excellent communication skills exhibited in a range of situations, and awareness of when to refer to others for support.
Project management – ability to drive projects within timelines and support change management efforts.
Strong candidates with the skills required, but from backgrounds other than tax, will be considered.
