WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our Finance department's Tax Team is based in Munich and Düsseldorf. As a Tax Junior Specialist on the Tax Team, you will provide support for all activities as needed, in particular in preparing tax returns, responding to inquiries from the tax authorities, preparing certificates, compiling global tax reports, and implementing tax processes.
The Tax department is responsible for compliance with tax regulations on profits tax (income tax, corporate income tax, trade tax, and payroll tax), VAT, and double taxation agreements and is the contact for the tax authorities as well as internally at BCG for Corporate Accounting, Payroll, HR, and the Global functions.
The Wage Tax Team is responsible for flat-rate income tax payments for benefits in kind per § 37b and § 40 of German income tax law.
The Global Mobility Tax Team in Düsseldorf is responsible for compliance with payroll tax and social security regulations, double taxation agreements, reporting requirements for tax secondments, and other assignment programs, as well as cross-office staffing of our consultants. You'll provide support in preparing certificates and process optimization in this area.
The position is also available part-time.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Ideally, you have completed training as an assistant tax consultant.
You have already gained experience in the field of finance, such as in financial accounting.
You are proficient in the MS Office pac kage, especially Excel, and able to work efficiently with Windows 10.
Good written and spoken English and excellent German language skills round out your profile.

As a Tax Junior Specialist, you'll be part of the Finance Team, which includes more than 50 employees. Locally, you'll work with six experienced colleagues.
