  Role Summary:

  We have an open Tax Content Analyst role on our Product/Tax Editorial team located in any of these Thomson Reuters hub locations - Carrollton or Eagan. The role of Tax Content Analyst relies on previous federal and/or state practitioner experience to provide standard tax know-how to support our business.

  About the Role:

  In this opportunity as Tax Content Analyst, you will:

  Primarily be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and extracting insights from Checkpoint Edge content to be used with various technologies including generative AI and large language modelsWork across Product, Editorial and development teams to enhance Checkpoint Edge, including search functionality/usability and summarization capabilities.Validate model performance by analyzing various data points to identify areas of weakness and take necessary steps to make corrections to training data to improve model performance for use by products across TR, including Checkpoint Edge.Identify and ensure editorial compliance with product requirements and communicate substantive content requirements to Product Management to facilitate product development.Remain current in market developments in specialist practice area. Relies on previous practitioner experience to provide standard tax and accounting know-how resources related to specialist practice areas to support the development and maintenance of tax and accounting information in all media and ensures that published information contains and delivers premium content. Provides tax and accounting expertise in responding to some standard and some non-standard inquiries from external customers about tax and accounting implications and practice related to specialty practice area. May meet with external customers and industry or sector experts to build or strengthen understanding of tax and accounting issues and practice related to specialist practice areas to ensure relevant and premium quality content is delivered to meet customer needs.May assist sales team by participating in sales calls and demonstrating services to existing and potential customers.May partner with senior-level positions or act independently to write or edit tax content.

  About You

  You're a fit for the role of Tax Content Analyst if your background includes:

  J.D. from an accredited institution and licensed to practice law or CPATwo or more years of experience in a CPA firm with relevant experience, including two years of experience in one or more US Federal and State TaxAnalytical and research skills and ability to identify key information from sources.Ability to organize and present information in a clear and structured manner.Ability to work efficiently and within deadlines and communicate effectively across teams.A passion for developing and applying Tax technology to solve our customers' problems.Understanding of business and customer needs to meet objectives and improve user experience and access to relevant Checkpoint Edge resources.Proficiency in and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.Experience with prompt engineering is an asset / plus.Ability to work flexibly in an agile product development environment
