The Integrated Aviation Solutions (AIS) Division currently has an opening for a Task Order Technical Lead supporting an Operations, Sustainment and Development program. Leidos is the prime contractor on a 10-year single award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the United States Army.

The Task Order Technical Lead reports directly to the Chief Engineer and is responsible for supporting a multi-functional team and to manage the scheduling of technical project delivery, change and new business. You will be self-motivated, be able to work autonomously and within a team to achieve day to day objectives with significant results on project or operational deliverables, while also owning a variety of activities ensuring compliance with project milestones and deliverables. An Airborne Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) technical background is essential for the role to enable working partnerships with USG and vendor technical leads within the program to plan, manage risks/issues effectively and deliver complex technical solutions to the client. The Task Order Technical Lead’s duties and responsibilities include ensuring teams meet all scope requirements by completing jobs properly in accordance with contract or agreements with the customer.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Coordinate internal resources and subcontractors for the flawless execution of projects.
Coordinate with technical leads to understand and manage the complex technical solutions demanded by the customer.
Ability and understanding to manage technical discussions within the program team.
Ensure that all projectsare deliveredon-time, within scope and within budget.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Participate in IPTs and lead technical reviews with the customer
Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Manage the relationship with the USG customer and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management tominimizeproject risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with tier 2/3 vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports to be delivered to Program Management Office and USG customer.
Provide oversight of subcontractor technical tasking and initiatives
All other duties as directed by the Program Management Office
And all other duties as required to ensure responsiveness of the program.
Basic Qualifications
Must hold a BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience; or master’s degree and 6 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Current DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI w/CI Poly
Experience leading a technical team across multiple functional areas
Experience with Airborne ISR executing SIGINT missions
Experience with operational processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) functions
Ability to assess SIGINT systems operational trends, evaluate capabilities, and identify deficiencies to generate comprehensive understanding of the current systems
Able to extract useful information from mission data using a variety of methods, including analysis, classification, conversion, extraction, organization, and reasoning to provide the customer with insights to shape CONOPS and future development efforts.
Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts
Experience with development of white papers and trade studies
Experience authoring comprehensive assessments detailing the results of the analysis
Experience working with engineers to enhance existing and support development of new airborne sensor and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) capabilities.
Experience with software development and testing
Able to effectively communicate with Leidos personnel, sub-contractors and customers
Ability to travel 10% to support one-on-one and Stakeholder meetings and surge travel up to 25% to support integration and installation or test events
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MS Project, Office, PowerPoint, Visio
Knowledge and experience with Army Airborne ISR Operations
Understanding of SIGINT missions
Experience with Army and National Intelligence policies and procedures

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
