About the Role
Location: This role will be based out of East Hanover, NJ.
The Novartis Talent & Transformation team is seeking a Talent & Transformation Head to partner closely with regional leadership teams from Latin America and Canada. This individual will provide thought leadership & strategic direction on Talent Management, Organizational Development, Leadership Development and D&I. They will develop & deploy high quality Talent & OD interventions/solutions for the region that substantially enhance organizational and people capabilities, and drive achievement of business goals and strategic objectives.
Major Accountabilities:
• Provides integrated Talent and Transformation (T&T) solutions to build organizational and leadership capabilities, partnering with (or mentoring) People & Organization (P&O / HR) Head to drive organizational change that enables customer centricity and business performance (SWP and governance for the market, operating model reviews, integrated change plans, culture change agenda, integrating D&I priorities in organizational transformation efforts)
• Develops a cohesive T&T strategy that is in line with overall business strategy and drives its implementation with P&O Business Partners, across assigned business areas.
• Connects market to enterprise (for market insights to feed enterprise product development & deployment, large scale pilots etc.), incl scouting for best practice available externally in the market
• Drive Precision Talent Management for Business Value Roles (BVR's) and Regional critical roles.
• Drive Leadership development interventions to support regional leadership capability build agenda in line with business transformation priorities.
• Drive targeted talent interventions for critical talent cohorts (Country Heads, Launch leaders, Medical Heads etc.)
• Builds capability and readiness of the line management and P&O organization in talent management, OD, culture change, change management, D&I. Owns in-market POBP capability building plans across expert areas.
Key Performance Indicators:
• Quality and execution of specific projects according to customer needs and expected outcomes delivered to cost, quality and time
• Feedback from internal partners, and clients (Business leaders, P&O business partners, P&O colleagues) recognize added-value of support
• Evidence in organizational health metrics from a variety of sources incl Our Voice, Org Health, Team perspectives
• Progress in implementing the People and Organization Strategies

Role Requirements
What you will bring to the role:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Relevant degree, postgraduate and working qualifications in the relevant business or applied behavioral sciences (e.g. Strategy, Business Administration, Organization Development, Psychology, HRM, MBB, etc.) preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years combined Talent Management (TM) & Organizational Development (OD) experience, supported by consulting, P&O or change management experience.
• Strong experience with senior executive engagement and facilitation, strong influencing ability through consulting, communication and relationship building skills
• Proven analytical and conceptual skills, combined with ability to implement
• Known for strong collaboration and networking with the broader P&O community and other stakeholders
• External consulting and/or business leadership experience would be valuable.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: $166,400.00 and $249,600.00 USD per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
