The Talent Management and Assessment Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the enterprise Assessment Strategy, including protocols and processes across the company for hiring. This role will oversee a portfolio of assessments for critical roles, the interview tools, and consult on hiring strategies. Lastly, this role will consult on talent management practices to assigned business leaders.
This position has been segmented as Blended meaning there is a combination of onsite and remote work.
Responsibilities:
Build, refine and support new and ongoing assessment and selection practices as required by organizational need.Partner with external vendors and internal business leaders in Insights & Analytics and Legal to explore indicators of job success, conduct validation studies and evaluate impact.Provide expertise to ensure the organization is current with the latest trends in the areas of assessment, interviewing and executive coaching.Oversee approach to interviewing for the enterprise including the design, development, and maintenance of interview tools.Partner with HRBPs and business leaders in identifying new assessment, interview and coaching needs and pilots options to identify and validate best methods.Oversees and maintains quality control of external psychological service providers and executive coaching partners.Partner with assigned business function to provide consulting support for Talent Management practices throughout the year.Other duties as assigned by manager.
Supervision:
Oversees work of analyst (dotted line reporting)
Relationships:
Internal: Talent Acquisition, HRIS, HRBPs, CHRO, Legal, and business leaders in all Functional areasExternal: multiple 3rd party vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
5-7 years practical experience in assessment including selection tests and behavioral interviewing.Comfortable with the design and analysis of validation and reliability studies related to measuring leadership potential and job success as well as database management and statistical analysis.Strong influence and relationship building skills across all levels of an organization.Superior analytical and communication skills including the ability to analyze and synthesize data into clear insights and present in compelling, business orientated formats.Experience planning and assigning the work of others and leading functional workgroups.Vendor managementDemonstrated track record of taking initiative, working independently while handling multiple priorities.Experience working in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experiencing overseeing third party executive coaching programs.Experience consulting to business leaders in talent management practicesExperience working in an organization that is a federal contractor monitored by the OFCCP
Education:
Master's degree required in I-O Psychology or related firm.Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, preferred.
