The Early Careers team is responsible for attracting and identifying diverse talent at the campus level and providing them with the tools and resources needed to thrive in their careers here at Moody's. We look after the global recruitment strategy, onboarding, development, and retention of talent at both the intern and entry level. The team is responsible for initiatives such the campus recruitment strategy, internship event planning, and optimizing the recruitment process. We identify recruiting trends and uncover opportunities for improvement and growth. Importantly, we promote Moody's as an employer of choice, attracting and engaging potential candidates through recruitment marketing.

Training and Development
During the approximate 10-week internship you will be provided Human Resources tools and training including access to online training modules to develop your skills. Be a part of our internship programming, networking and community service opportunities. You'll be partnered with a mentor for the duration of your internship to give you opportunities to understand more about Moody's and our culture. You'll get to connect with and learn from senior leaders as you take your first steps towards a successful professional career.
Overview of role/responsibilities for the intern
Are you an aspiring Talent Attraction professional? Get valuable real-world experience in a supportive, fast-paced, and collaborative environment! The Early Careers team is looking for an intern to help collaborate with the team on our various campus programs, handle day-to-day interview scheduling, and take the lead on internship event planning.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Proficiently use a variety of tools and resources to effectively source, track and evaluate talent.Develop excellent working relationships with colleagues across Moody's Corporation.Communicate with clients in a courteous, professional, accurate and timely manner.Collaborate with the other members of the Early Careers team to strategize and execute Campus Recruitment initiatives. Meticulously track recruiting activity data, creating reports on activity and illustrating progress toward recruitment goals.Coordinate and manage the interview scheduling for both intern and entry-level candidates from the initial outreach and manage candidate communication. Take the lead on summer program planning such as intern events, networking opportunities, Executive Leadership speaker series, etc. Plan and promote campus attraction events for both in office and on-campus such as career fairs, information sessions, club and office visits. Take part in the strategic planning and organizational efforts for the ALPFA conference and the additional year-round events that take place with Moody's Corporation.
Qualifications:
This internship would be suitable for:
A rising Sophomore or Junior anticipated to graduate in 2025 or 2026, working towards a Bachelor's degree with a focus in Marketing, Finance, Business, Communications, Management, Human Resources or similar.Preferably some relevant experience (including internships).Interest in project management in HR.High attention to detail, thorough, and excellent organizational skills.Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.Strong customer orientation and an eagerness to excel and be a part of a dynamic, fast growing team.Exceptional critical thinking skills.Exposure to financial industry, banking and/or financial markets a plus, but not required.
