Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Coordinator partners with the recruiting team and is responsible for evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, and abilities to present qualified candidates for consideration to hiring managers. In this role you will partner and collaborate with all levels of management across all lines of business to understand job qualifications and candidate fit. The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Coordinator will be tasked for sourcing talent, ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using various methods i.e., college and institutions, social media, web- based tools, networks, creative marketing, and other resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage administrative recruiting process for all network positions outside of medical providers in accordance with budget and compensation committee approval and ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants/ employees relative to policies, benefits and hiring process. Refers more complex questions to HR Team members
Administers workplace (Predictive Index) assessments for employees and candidates
Screens resumes, coordinates interviews, phone screenings, responds to candidates and managers in a timely manner
Collaborates with recruitment team, providing staffing updates to reflect current position standing, candidate feedback, trends, etc.
Correspondence, application review and offer extensions
Document all candidate information/activity from phone screens and interview feedback in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Performs market research on recruitment trends and posts job ads on local job sites and professional sites
Prepares offer letters and new hire checklists
Requisition management; posting, editing and closing requisitions
Promote positive and professional candidate experiences throughout the hiring process.
Takes initiative to present ideas/suggestions to management utilizing proactive problem-solving approach.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates to be proactive in recruitment vs. reactive; participates in job fairs, on site campus recruitment, career fairs, ad hoc opportunities etc.
Ensures the Network follows all state and federal labor laws and regulations including, but not limited to Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Opportunity, Americans with Disabilities, Family Medical Leave Act, Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophy of the Network and is prepared to work effectively with other members of the management team to accomplish any other assignments/projects, as assigned
Enthusiastically serves on various organization committees that support the Mission, Vision and Core Values
Complete other tasks and other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential functions:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred
Comfortable corresponding with candidates and managers via phone call
2-3 years previous HR experience strongly preferred; recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail
2 years of experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
Thorough knowledge of MS Office suite and working within Excel required
Ability to navigate ambiguity/complexity, bringing creativity and resourcefulness
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to persuade and influence and sell career opportunities required
Strong organizational, computer and time management skills
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others
Exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with private information and sensitive personnel issues
The pay rate of this position is based upon experience and skill set. The range is $21.63-$28.84 per hour
