Under the general direction of the Global Division Human Resources Manager, the Senior Recruiter will develop, evaluate, implement, and maintain an effective
and comprehensive recruitment program from job requisition through hiring for all open positions to support company strategies.
The Senior Recruiter has a strong track record of creating and delivering sourcing strategies and full cycle recruiting for a variety of positions.
The Senior Recruiter will partner in the development and implementation of our talent acquisition and recruiting strategy for all exempt and
hourly positions throughout our 350+ employee manufacturing and engineering design company. While mentoring other professionals
who will support our hiring efforts, The Senior Recruiter will use your skills to create compelling job postings, source and network with passive
and out-of-area candidates, and drive quality hires for hard-to-fill roles at all levels while working closely with hiring managers and front-line
supervisors.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute progressive integrated talent acquisition solutions using multiple vehicles including direct sourcing, social networking,industry networking, employee referrals, Internet sourcing, pre-employment assessments and other avenues you identify.
Build a pipeline for current and future roles ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and speed.
Develop and meet service level agreements with hiring managers.
Build an effective team that collectively meets the talent acquisition needs of our organization
Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
Develop, maintain and report staffing metrics to the Division HR Manager.
Ensure that procedures are consistently used for all positions to ensure compliance with EEOC and OFCCP
Takes a proactive approach to recruiting by directly sourcing and cold calling passive candidates. Provides innovative recruiting ideas and
strategies that result in timely flow and hire of qualified applicants.
Screen candidate resumes and perform initial interviews with all candidates to identify if they have the technical skills required for the openposition and to identify if they are a fit to the company culture.
Make recommendations to hiring managers on top candidates to interview.
Set and meet recruiting goals and deadlines, and develop, track, analyze, and report strategic recruiting metrics to management.
Prepare postings, ads, interview and reference questions; participate in job fairs; network with schools and community groups; direct source as
needed.
Present, negotiate and close employment offers.
Perform related activities including applicant tracking and ad-hoc report
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business or HR field or equivalent knowledge strongly preferred.
Experience: 7+ years experience within corporate recruiting or agency environment, ideally with specific experience with technical, engineering,
manufacturing or recruiting background.
Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities using strong organization and prioritization skills.
Successful ability to balance between high volume recruiting and high quality candidates.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail balanced with a big picture focus.
Excellent communication skills, including not only written and oral communication skills in English, but timely feedback and updates to hiring
supervisors and management.
Aptitude for computer systems, including proficiency with MS Office products (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) and the Internet.
Demonstrated interest in emerging and time-tested recruiting and interviewing techniques, including Behavioral Interviewing, and ability to
educate others about staffing processes and guidelines.
Requires travel to attend job fairs and develop sourcing network.
Work effectively with all levels inside and outside of the organization to expediently achieve company goals.
Be tenacious, goal-oriented, and take the initiative as warranted while demonstrating sound judgment and discretion with business and people
issues.
Demonstrate a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to customer service, company valuesand the organization.
High degree of integrity while working with highly confidential information discreetly and appropriately.
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent resident.
