Job Summary
The "System Support Supervisor" will be based in Tijuana, reporting to the IT Manager
Responsible for directing and coordinating incident management activities of an information systems department in manufacturing processes.
What a typical day looks like:
• Manage IT support and maintenance activities to ensure that organization's information systems function reliably and that IT resources are used effectively.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software products that will enhance the capabilities of the organization's information systems.
• Monitor and control information systems installed, configured, and maintained to best meet end user needs.
• Ensure that the organization's information systems are supported effectively and within budget.
• Direct daily department activities in order to maximize system utilization and support business needs as it pertains to a site's IT infrastructure. Examples include ServiceNow, monitor tool tickets.
• IT infrastructure includes (but is not limited to) LAN, WAN, telephony, server administration, desktop support, printers and barcode scanners.
• Manage business continuity and recovery of company's information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan development, implementation and documentation.
• Evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the incident management function.
• Provide technical &/or project leadership for mid to large-scale projects.
• Implements and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security and legal and regulatory compliance.
• Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
• Follow appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, Functional knowledge, education background or relevant working experience required.
• Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Demonstrates mastery of expertise in multiple areas and industry
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
• Impacts the medium-term direction and operational success of the function.
• Executes and provides input to functional plans and objectives for the site.
• Enhances and provides input to functional processes or technologies.
• Has experience in leading major initiatives and provides input to those initiatives.

• Uses judgement based on practice/policy and precedence and may use judgement based on analysis of information.
