About the job:
We are seeking a skilled MBSE Solution Architect to supply to our team's success. As a trusted advisor to clients, you will play a pivotal role in addressing digital thread challenges. This position involves working closely with strategic accounts in industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, oil, gas, and transportation.
Responsibilities:
Be a trusted advisor to the client and user groups – sharing a point of view, consensus and mentorship which will suit their needs throughout program delivery and in-service support
Build trust, respect and effective relationships with the client and user groups – to understand and alleviate problems, lead expectations, and enable multifaceted change and implementation throughout program delivery
Act as solution consultant to strategic Global Sales/PreSales pursuits and Services projects, providing mentorship through the complexity of solution architecture options and the long-term roadmap for the solution
As a digital thread architect, translate business requirements into process-aligned designs for Siemens PLM Software. Leverage extensive multi-product, multi-industry experience and standard methodologies to supply to strategic Enterprise Programs, ensuring market-leading solutions for our customers
Leverage relevant templates in the leadership of project solutions in own specialist area worldwide, and curate standard methodologies and templates, providing mentoring in the creation and adoption of templates and solutions within the SPLM Delivery Framework
Collaborate with Product Development to shape the product roadmap and influence new features and industry solutions. Align with program and project processes, engage with customers to lead expectations, and facilitate customer adoption through showcasing the comprehensive Siemens Delivery framework
Conduct and lead workshops to drive technology adoption and grasp client needs effectively
Ability to communicate between technology and business needs and across a multi-disciplined of technical and non-technical partners, such as users, clients, technical, program and sales teams
Collaborate within the Consulting Services team, working seamlessly with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and other internal/external interfaces to ensure customer success in working towards their goals
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Minimum BS degree or equivalent experience with shown experience in Electrical, Power Systems Engineering and/or Power Electronics.
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Demonstrate systems engineering knowledge and experience, familiarity with industry standard methodologies and standards around MBSE, etc. Proven experience in using standards-based system modeling applications (e.g., SysML)
Requirements Engineering, System Architecture Definition: Expertise around requirements analysis and management, sophisticated system architecture modeling and simulation, etc.
Project Management: Ability how to self-manage but also lead project team (coordinate work, handle schedules, etc.)
Process Modeling: Expertise in high-level architecture modeling and/or solution process modeling using standard modeling approaches like BPMN or similar practices.
Extensive product design expertise spanning Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Industrial Machinery & Heavy Equipment
Strong interpersonal skills, adept at translating sophisticated technology into clear business strategies, concise problem definitions, and actionable solutions
Shown understanding of Teamcenter or Simcenter, testing and implementation
Working with multi-functional teams from service delivery, design, product development and implementation
Experience working in Agile or sophisticated technology projects/programs.

The total cash compensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 5% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
