We are seeking individuals that have excellent technical and leadership qualities that will be utilized to support R&D (Research and Design) and executing programs around our tactical communication solutions.A successful candidate will perform all life cycle phases beginning with concept proposal through project planning, requirements capture, design, development, integration, test, installation, support, and sustainment. Key responsibilities include requirements creation and management, familiarity with military standards with a basic level of expertise in performing integration and testing in both lab and field environments, and technical collaboration with other disciplines. Candidates will be expected to perform tasks of moderate complexity under the guidance of more senior peers.This job impacts our nation's security; desired results include contributing to communication systems that will help keep our nation and allies safe. We have an opportunity to shape our nation's defense posture; OUR TEAM directly designs, develops, and tests communication systems that are used by our military.This position may be eligible for relocation.Primary Responsibilities:
Performs analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Manages configuration process, performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Decomposes customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and generates verification criteria and plans for the requirements.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
