Things You'll Do
Manage our observability platform, ensuring reliable systems monitoring and alertingDevelop and maintain secure, high performing, scalable and cost-effective systemsBe involved in architectural design decisions and drive system improvementsEnsure on-time delivery of projects and creation of automated solutions for issue resolutionOversee platform lifecycle, document systems and participate in technical analysisAddress complex problem-solving, including system feature design and complexity mitigationMonitor operational metrics and assist teams in resolving issues during incidentsCollaborate across engineering teams to resolve issues and foster relationshipsProactively address platform and infrastructure gaps by gathering feedback and setting standardsParticipate in on-call rotation and manage operational needsGuide and drive improvements across multiple teams within the organization
What We're Looking For On Your Resume
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go or JavaExperience with distributed systems and microservices architecturesProven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, navigate through unfamiliar code, and quickly learn new technologiesStrong experience with Linux OS and its administrationUnderstanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team and across various teamsLeadership experience in driving initiatives across numerous teams
