SUMMARY:
This position works on the Database and Middleware team with a focus on purchased department and enterprise applications, middleware, and cloud solutions. The role will require working some nights and weekends to perform upgrades and installs during non-production hours as well as provide third level support. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Fusion cloud and Oracle OCI or O9 Solutions cloud environment.
Level of position will be determined based on experience and skillset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executing enterprise system design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of purchased applications
Researching, implementing, and maintaining application and platform security to ensure environment stability
Solving complex system performance and technical problems, as well as developing and following well-documented change control procedures
Coordinating SSO configurations with Azure Active Directory team allowing applications to utilize Single Sign-on and Multi-factor Authentication
Architecture, planning, implementation, and maintenance of Java (J2EE) Application Servers, such as JBoss, WebSphere and WebLogic
Creating scripted automation with high technical competence, in several different languages
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
An appropriate bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or related field
Strong analytical and computer skills, including:
Solid understanding and knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems and related environment
Solid understanding and knowledge of Windows security
Solid understanding and knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts
Solid understanding and knowledge of databases and database-driven applications
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Java script, or python etc.
Knowledge of JSON, API and Web Services
Knowledge of virtual environments such as VMWare
A pattern of initiative and technical innovation, proven problem solving, decision making and project management skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent organizational, time management skills, ability to work independently; well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on nights, weekends, holidays for 3 rd level support and/or system upgrades in support of Plant downtime availability windows
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

Preferred
Advanced technical experience in Windows Server OS management, Roles, and Features
Experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle OCI or O9 Solutions Cloud
Technical experience with Hybrid Cloud Modernization and multi-cloud administration
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (laaS) Cloud administration with platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Proficiency in application administration on Unix/Linux based systems
Working knowledge of Container Services for application delivery
Understanding of physical servers, storage arrays, storage protocols, backup, and restoration technologies
Location: Austin, MN, preferred. Relocation assistance available. Remote work arrangement available.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel may be necessary 10% of the time.
The base pay range is $95,000 to $131,000 per year; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
