Your responsibilities in this role
Effectively guarantee the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Follow and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, detect possible solutions, and work together with developers to fulfill those fixes
Partake in the design of information and operational support systems
Operate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Assist with 2nd and 3rd level support
Assert backup, security, and redundancy strategies
Supervise and track all installed systems and infrastructure
Maintain, test, configure, and install application software, operating systems, and system management tools
Note down and retain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Requirements - This position requires a candidate with experience with automation software
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems is required for success at this position
Candidates who have solid networking knowledge will be the best fit for this position
Adeptness in Microsoft SCCM
Command of Server Administration
Strong familiarity with Cisco Certification
Citrix experience highly desired
Foundational knowledge in Linux
Data Center Environment experience
This position requires a candidate with experience with monitoring systems
Applicants who solid scripting skills are preferred
If you have experience with virtualization and containerization, you will be strongly preferred for this position
