Systems Administrator
Position Summary
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for architecting, implementing, maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, documenting, and securing all aspects of technology resources for CANR, including AgBioResearch and MSU Extension. Included in the responsibilities are covering servers, storage, Meraki networking, remote offices, security, disaster recovery, and backups; and providing advanced end user support to approximately 1200 on campus and across the state.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience with various operating systems and the designing, scheduling, implementing, debugging, and testing of complex computer systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
