Job Description
Integrates, validates, and debugs software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology. Designs and develops a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack. Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures. Writes validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, triages failures, and recommends or develops corrective action. Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.Efficient in Object oriented Python programming, familiar with Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) architecture, validation of BMC, familiarity of OpenBMC, automation of validation frameworks using Python, good debug skills. Understanding of Server baseboard design and other interleaved firmware components. May include automation/scripting using AI, debug improvements using AI. Familiar with requirement analysis, End to End (E2E) firmware testing coverage experience. May specialize in specific technology domains including AI/ML, and opensource projects.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:- Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience. Expertise in Python, OOPS Python. Knowledge of IPMI, RTOS, Redfish, MCTP/PLDM, embedded Linux kernel eg boot loader, uboot, various drivers and multithread application.- Expertise in E2E validation test plan write up, requirement coverage, automation.
Preferred Qualifications:- Expertise with Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) working and feature set. Familiarity with OpenBMC framework. Expertise with Server platform architecture would be preferred.- Experience with one or more of the following I3C, I2C, UART, eSPI. Familiar with servers and Intel architecture for servers. Demonstrated ability of analyzing complex technical problems diagnosing root cause and finding solutions. Demonstrated ability of debugging the script failures, firmware timing issues, architectural problems.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
