What do you contribute?
You will take technical responsibility for the surface coating systems of our rail vehicles and thus actively contribute to the (further) development of our high-speed, intercity and regional train fleets.
To this end, you will draw up technical documents for the painting of our car bodies and ensure compliance with all technical and commercial requirements in order to guarantee the quality and efficiency of our products.
You will work intensively and in coordination with various engineering teams, paint manufacturers, the production departments (e.g. in Krefeld) and areas such as purchasing and quality management. Your technical guidance and support will help us to achieve our goals.
You will also assume cross-sectional responsibility for the painting specifications of add-on parts and act as a central point of contact for interface partners and suppliers of coated components.
You will carry out validation and testing measures to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
What do you bring along?
You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
You also have sound knowledge and several years of experience in paint systems, their application and color tolerance management, ideally in a similar position as a systems engineer (f/m/d) or as a responsible design engineer (f/m/d).
Your know-how covers cross-sectional topics such as corrosion, fire protection and bonding technology.
You are adept at working with CAD systems (ideally Creo), AutoCAD and SAP.
A good command of English facilitates international cooperation, a good command of German is an advantage.
