We have an exciting new opening for a Systems Engineer. You'll be given the opportunity to develop next generation products and technologies for the automotive industry.
As an individual contributor in the Electrification Center of Excellence (eCOE) and responding to the System Engineering Manager, the E-boosting System Engineer drives the following activities:
Support the development and execution of System processes in accordance with relevant, automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO21434)
Be the technical point of contact to the customer and customer teams, responsible for communication on technical topics.
Elicit and analyze Stakeholder Requirements.
Author System requirements for our electric products that satisfy Stakeholder requirements.
Support the development of the System Architecture for our electrical products.
Work with Functional Safety Team to develop System level work products according to ISO 26262 for applicable products.
Support the analysis of System working with the Quality, Functional Safety, and Design teams (FMEA, FTAs, Freedom From Interference, Dependent Failure Analysis)
Support the development of the integration and validation plans.
Author User Guides for our products to provide to internal and external customers.
Manage technical issues and coordinate through definition of problem statement, root cause analysis, and solution implementation with customer and all cross-functional teams
Participate in supplier panel selection, supplier development, and collaborate on supplier strategies.
Your experience:
5+ years of experience in systems engineering which includes hardware and software development.
Product launch experience
Understanding of embedded controls
Experience with in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet)
Prior experience with requirements management
Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate solutions with hardware/software/mechanical and systems engineering.
Understanding of project management
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Ability to work in a global, virtual team environment.
Experience with high-speed motors and/or powertrain applications.
Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering.
Understanding of Automotive standards is preferred.

Education:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an emphasis on power electronics, motor controls, embedded SW or electromagnetic
