Experience with SCADA and Control Systems and GE's XA/21 Power Reliance Application
Experience with Red Hat Linux Operating System
Work with IT SCADA team to continuously improve the reliability, security, and flexibility of the CDMS application
Create monitoring scripts using bash scripts in all CDMS environments for fault alerting
Red Hat Linux system administration experience to configure and maintain high availability on CDMS infrastructure
Maintain Linux user accounts and file system permissions in CDMS environments
Respond to system alerts and perform root cause analysis
Support end users of CDMS with any application, login, or access issues
Support CDMS application 24 x 7 x 365 and be willing to be on call 1 out of 4 weeks
Respond to tickets submitted by business users and complete within agreed upon time
Must be highly motivated and have good interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and shift priorities as directed by IT management
Be self-directed and work independently with little supervision
Creates and sustains a workplace environment that fosters professionalism, honesty, concern, excellence and teamwork
Ensure safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policies
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience
or
Associate's Degree and 4 years work experience
or
High School Diploma/GED and 5 years work experience
Relevant Work Experience
2 years Experience with Computers Required
2 years Knowledge of Red Hat Linux Required
2 years Knowledge of GE XA21 Power Reliance Preferred
2 years Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ticketing system Preferred

Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
