Description
Leidos is seeking an experienced System Administrator in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program in Columbus, OH.
Primary Responsibilities
Configures and manages Windows and Linux operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
Basic Qualifications
Active Secret level security clearance
DoD 8570 IAT II approved certification.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of direct experience.
Must be a US Citizen
Demonstrated technical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Defensive Cyber Systems and Operations
Experience with DISA Defensive Cyber Platforms
Familiarity with SAFe Agile
Linux Experience
Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
