Job Summary
The Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Sr. Analyst will elevate Equinix's global sustainability program and help to position Equinix's sustainability leadership as a business differentiator through the management of annual global sustainability reporting. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sustainability Reporting and Engagement, this highly visible role will help drive cross-functional project management and content development for our annual externally facing, GRI-aligned sustainability report covering ESG initiatives globally, own sustainability rater and ranker submissions and relationship building, perform annual gap analysis of reporting requirements to provide recommendations to address program improvements and innovation, as well as support opportunities for recognition. The ideal candidate will have sustainability reporting experience utilizing key frameworks including GRI, CDP, Ecovadis, TCFD, ISSB and SASB), working knowledge of the regulatory landscape, proficiency in presentation development. The candidate will posess excellent verbal and written communications skills. The Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Senior Analyst will have opportunities to work cross-functionally with internal partners on projects to drive the education and understanding of Sustainability Program Office strategy, initiatives and commitments as required.
Key areas of focus will be:
Global Sustainability Reporting:Annual Integrated Sustainability Report (ISR)Manage cross-functional stakeholders, stakeholder interviews, content development and consultants to develop an industry leading global ESG report. Own ISR website and asset developmentESG DisclosuresSubmit comprehensive and timely annual rater and ranker disclosures, build relationships with organizations to better understand reporting methodologies and perform gap analysis to recommend ongoing improvementsIdentify Recognition OpportunitiesDrive recognition/award submission development globally and provide recommendations on priority events/engagements for participationCross-functional engagement of projects as required including support of the management of internal communications sites including the Hub and SPO sharepoint
Responsibilities
Collaboratively work with internal sustainability partners to support the development of relevant documentation and tools to facilitate sustainability engagement and program developmentProvide logistical and administrative support including scheduling, note taking, and email correspondenceConduct basic research related to the sustainability program office across the environment, social and governance pillar strategies and metrics, and analyses as requiredSupport the development of presentations, reports, content drafts, and other materials as appropriate to communicate analyses and recommendations to priority audiencesSupport and attend team meetings and other organizational events as requiredResearch duties related to other sustainability program office initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in sustainabilityIntermediate understanding of sustainability best practicesAbility to design and carry out relevant tasks including content reviews, metrics analysis, customer analysis, and presentation developmentCross-functional project management skillsFamiliarity with datasets commonly used to analyze sustainability (ESG) topicsFamiliarity with GHG Accounting best practicesFamiliarity with or the ability to quickly develop an understanding of key sustainability frameworks including GRI, CDP, GRESB, TCFD, etc.Excellent writing skills and ability to develop communications for internal and external stakeholders including customers, partners and employeesSolid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writingStrong time management skillsAbility to multi-task and work independently

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
