Against this background we have set up a new unit “Sustainability” within Motion Control. This unit is tasked with driving the sustainability agenda of MC, including not only the products we offer to our customer, but also our self-imposed obligation to more sustainability in our own value chain, as expressed in the Siemens’ DEGREE framework. What part will you play?
In your new role, you are responsible for pilot projects that help us to increase our ambition level in sustainability criteria in regards to our Motion Control product portfolio.
In this context, you translate eco-design criteria into development guidelines.
You promote the further development of our frequency inverters to meet EU taxonomy criteria, etc. and reliably drive this project forward. We strive to take all our motion control products to the next level based on Robust Ecodesign criteria.
You influence corporate Sustainability projects and have an eye on reporting and important facts and figures.
Communication and collaboration across all levels is key – in your role, you are also responsible for defining a communication concept and training materials to drive our goals forward.
What you need to make real what matters.
University degree in sustainability management or engineering or a similar field.
Several years of experience and proven track record with Sustainability topics as well as broad experience in project management.
Proven professional experience in industrial digitization/automation and our Digital Industries portfolio.
Very good knowledge of Project Management methods and tools.
International experience and business proficiency in German and English
