Meta is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager to join the Infrastructure Sustainability team focused on the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. This position will be focused on managing social and environmental responsibility findings with suppliers and supporting RSC labor and health and safety programs across Meta's supply chain. We are looking for candidates with experience implementing and managing responsible supply chain activities, human rights due diligence, and working with suppliers and stakeholders in technology and electronics supply chains. This role will be based in Singapore.
Sustainability Program Manager, Responsible Supply Chain Responsibilities:
Examine through root cause analysis and manage supplier performance improvements against RSC standardsContribute to improvement programs that support sustained high supplier performanceSupport implementation of social and environmental responsibility programs and assurance activities at suppliersMaintain positive, proactive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholdersEngage with sourcing (procurement), legal, business units and other cross-functional teams to align program objectives and manage key metricsProvide day-to-day coordination for projects and effectively communicate status and priorities to team members and cross-functional partnersAssess opportunities, risks and trends in priority sourcing countries in Asia Pacific regionContribute to internal and external reporting and communicationsrepresent Meta externally, as neededContribute to the RSC assurance program strategy and its implementationMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business management, natural sciences or similarAt least four to six years' work experience and subject matter experience and expertise in social compliance or supply chain labor, human rights, and health & safetyStrong program management skills with demonstrated ability to self-manage complex program delivery on a regional levelProven ability to deliver results through personal leadership and influencing othersDemonstrated ability to understand and reconcile conflicting inputs and propose go-forward solutions that meet the needs of the overall group and the individualsDemonstrated ability and willingness to learnThis role requires travel (25-30%)Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred because the role requires the individual to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers where communications may be in MandarinExperience in supply chains, ethical sourcing field, including supplier on-site assessments and developmentExperience with supply chain codes of conduct preferably in technology or electronics sectorAn advanced degree in sustainability related field, human rights, environment, health & safety, corporate responsibility or public policyAbout Meta:
